Good UX Academy course
I took the UX Academy course. It was comprehensive. My mentor was helpful. Finished it in about 6 months. Happy with the curriculum and the project work.
Smooth UX Academy experience
I signed up for the UX Academy program back in April. The enrollment process was pretty straightforward online, no hitches. They assigned me a mentor fairly quickly, which was good. Delivery of course materials was all digital, of course, and the platform itself was easy to navigate. My mentor was responsive and gave useful feedback, usually within 24 hours. The career services part was also quite helpful for portfolio reviews. Quality of the content felt professional, definitely not some rushed online class. Overall, a solid educational experience for me.
Solid course, small issue
I enrolled in the UI Design course. The content was really strong, very practical exercises and the mentor was knowledgeable. I especially liked the project-based learning. My only minor gripe was that sometimes the response time from my mentor stretched a bit longer than I expected, maybe 48 hours instead of 24, but it always came through. The overall value for the cost was good, and the platform worked well. I learned a lot from it and feel more confident with UI now.
Good value for Product Design
I was looking into a few different platforms for product design and decided on Designlab for their Product Design course. I was pretty budget-conscious. The content felt robust for the price I paid, especially with the 1-on-1 mentorship included. It felt like I got a lot out of it for the money. Consistent quality, returning student
This was my second course with Designlab, after I did UX Academy Foundations a couple of years ago. This time I took the Advanced Design Craft module. The quality was consistent with my previous experience. The platform hadn't changed much, still easy to use. My mentor for this course was just as engaged as my first one, which is a big plus for me. It's why I came back, really, for that personalized feedback. It took about 3 months to complete. They've maintained their standards, which is great to see.
